چکیده
ABSTRACT
Orthodontics, in today’s contemporary world, is focused mainly on aesthetics. Most of the adult patients are reluctant to orthodontic treatment due their un-aesthetic appearance. To answer such problems several options available, ranging from aesthetic brackets, made tooth-coloured plastic or ceramic, another option Invisalign, which restricted only certain kinds simple malocclusions. Hence, lingual appliance selected for this case by far best available outlook and mechanical aspect however torque control anterior teeth has always been considered a major problem. For maintaining value either we have apply direct moment force brackets using different combination lever-arm mini-screws mechanics deliver line that passes through near center resistance. In present case, utilized long palatal mini-implant system produce controlled en-masse retraction teeth. This customised lever arm created soldering one power others point application close

Fixed lingual mandibular growth modificator: a new appliance for class II correction.
INTRODUCTION This article demonstrates the description and use of a new appliance for Class II correction. MATERIAL AND METHODS A case report of a 10-year 5 month-old girl who presented with a skeletally-based Class II division 1 malocclusion (ANB = 6.5°) on a slightly low-angle pattern, with ML-NSL angle of 30° and ML-NL angle of 22.5°. Overjet was increased (7 mm) and associated with a deep...
متن کاملTreatment Effects of Farmand Functional Appliance on Class II Division 1 Malocclusion
Background and Aim: The aim of the present study was to evaluate the cephalometric changes in Class II division 1 mandibular deficient patients treated with Farmand functional appliance. Methods and Materials: Twenty-seven subjects (17 girls and 10 boys) with the mean age of 11.1±1.4 years were involved in the present study. All the subjects were treated with Farmand functional ...
متن کاملCephalometric investigation of Class III dentoalveolar malocclusion.
The aim of our study was to identify the most important anatomical landmarks in the cephalometric evaluation of Class III patients and to clarify the morphological characteristics of these cases. A group of 10 Class III orthodontic patients was evaluated in this study. The control group consisted of 10 patients with average occlusion and skeletal characteristics. Digital lateral cephalometric X...
متن کاملCorrection of Skeletal Class II Malocclusion using Functional-Fixed Appliance Therapy
Single-phase treatment started during late mixed dentition using functional followed by fixed appliance therapy has proven to be the most effective approach to achieve correction of Class II malocclusion. This case report demonstrates the use of this treatment approach in an 11-year-old girl with skeletal and dental Class II malocclusion, large overjet, deep overbite, increased incisor exposure...
متن کاملAntero-posterior lingual sliding retraction system for orthodontic correction of hyperdivergent Class II protrusion
BACKGROUND This report introduces a lingual bonded retraction system (Kinematics of Lingual Bar on Non-Paralleling Technique, KILBON) for efficient sliding mechanics combined with vertical control of the anterior and posterior teeth, which is suitable for Class II hyperdivergent patients. METHODS Design and biomechanics of the KILBON System were described. Two adults with hyperdivergent class...
